Down in the tie rod assembly is 2 items for the power steering. One is the hydrolic cylinder assembly which you can just take off. The second is the valve assembly which screws on the end of the drag link & bolts to the pitman arm. All you have to do is pop it loose from the pitman arm & unscrew it. Then the adapter(which is nothing more than a straight piece of metal with a ball stud sticking out of it)screws on to the drag link & the ball stud bolts to the pitman arm.
