Hey thanks Jason. I went to the www.prestage.com website someone else suggested and it also had around the same calculations for real world racing as you are saying. Again, I appreciate the info. I will keep you all posted as I make my move to a HP Maverick race car. Originally my idea was going to use a 351 C, but now I am leaning towards a 302 SVO block with a 3.25 stroke crank and .03 to make 331 CI. I am unsure as to a cyl. head at this time but I am going to use a supercharger amongst other goodies to make power. My aim is 500 RWHP at around 2200-2400 curb weight. I think it will be very easy to achieve this power range with a 331 and a supercharger and still not even be at full potential. But I have no reason to go to the full power capabilities of the 302 for 9's and if I went too far for a build up, it probably wouldn't be a fun ride anyway. I was thinking of NOS to achieve 500 RWHP status but figured it is a "Cheap Win" way to go and wouldn't really be considered a 500 RWHP car if it wasn't capable all the time, so I will stay away from it. Sorry for my rambling on.
