Well, I've been following this board for about a year or so, and I think it's great. Now because today is my birthday(34th) and because I've had a bear of a time today, I thought I'd just say a few things that are on my mind. I just saw an ad in some car mag (I think it was car craft) about some diecast company that's making an amx javelin something or another amc car in 1/25 or 1/18 scale! If these are so popular(and I'm not knocking amc cars)why the heck cant somebody like road champs or franklin mint make a good old mav in some scale other than the mighty mavs or the johnny lightning thing. I have a 1/1 70 and a 71(parts car) and I just received a 69 1/2 johan promo off e-bay that I will be altering to look like my car. But ohhhhhh it would be nice to have a real metal mav grabber in say 1/18 scale. Who do you have to knock off to slap some since into those diecast guys? Anyway, thanks for listening. By the way, the promo doesn't have the package tray it has the dash. I've heard the
new 70 torino gt has one. Can anyone confirm that; or does anyone know of a mustang model that has one. Again thanks.Love the board!!
