I found a V-8 Comet and two V8 Mavericks at a salvage yard. I yanked the engines and transmissions out of all of them over a period of two trips. I salvaged three sets of engine frame mounts, three transmission crossmembers, and two engine crossmembers. I missed the 3rd engine crossmember. I tried the first day but could not break one bolt loose. I came back with a breaker bar but they had crushed the car. I used one engine crossmember and transmission crossmember on my car and I sold the other engine crossmember, one set of engine frame mounts, and a transmission crossmember on ebay. I'm not sure what to ask for the parts that I still have. I plan to put these on ebay also pretty soon. But I will sell now if we can agree on a price.
The frame mounts went for $50, the trans crossmember and the engine crossmember went for $100 each. That seems a little high, but then again, I did go through a lot of work to save these parts from being destroyed, and before I found these parts the cheapest I could find on the net was $100 for frame mounts and $100 for trans crossmember.
