an easier stroker: 3.85 stroke crank, 351 rods, and 302 pistons..for 393 inches. I dont like the 427 strokers, because you have to grind away half the bottom of the cylinders and block to clear the crank and rods, the 393 requires minimal grinding. also, the 427 MUST have aftermarket cylinder heads to make power, as the extra inches require much more airflow to work properly. But if you like torque, the 427 is the way to go. the long stroke will help a lot.
