Rudy,yes many on the board have done this. I replaced with a 3/4" unit and saw unmistakable roll resistance increase.
Also replaced rear springs due to the old units being tired,changed from 3 to 4 leaf and this really made a difference.
Just a super pleasure to drive as compared to what it was.
The stiffer springs act in two ways to increase ride stiffness and add roll resistance.There are larger front
and rear bars available aftermarket. Keep a secret,,, I will be designing mounts and doing mods to my old front roll bar,
for mounting it on the rear of my car. The rear bars are almost always less stiff than the front bar for normal use.
I've not started this project yet so it may be into summer before its complete.
