Dr. Gas in Utah is the orginal designer on this X pipe, everything else is just a copy of that design, (sorry). It's not that you get big horsepower from it, what it really does is give you a better torque band. This is what moves you down the road is torque.
The best way is to get the X pipe from Dr. Gas and have the exhaust system built to match up to it. Until Sterling Marlin rolled over in a race, no one knew why he could run so well. Now all Winston Cup cars use it a swear by it.
: Has anyone read the latest Hot Rod magazine article on the x pipe crossover system? Or better yet, has anyone tried them? They sound like they are a great horsepower booster. I'm putting on my exhaust system Tuesday morning and will see if they can fabricate these for me.
