12/15/72 the glove compartment replaced the package tray (timeline.maverickgrabber.com), so only early 73's got the tray. Buckets were the optional seat, and not all Grabbers had the handling package either, though they did come std with bigger tires. -CP
: I was just looking through some sites for info on the 73 Grabber. It says the 73 should have a glove box. My 73 Grabber "does not" have a glove box. It has the same tray set up as my 70 Maverick. I believe that door sticker said(too late to go out and look right now) that the cars was built sometime around September of 72. Is this another one of those "mid-year" changes or something?
: Next question. Did all 73 Grabbers have the LDO option stock? What about the vinyl top, was it also standard on 73 Grabbers? Also, did all Grabbers come with the handling package as part of the Grabber option?
: My Grabber also comes with a bench seat. Was the an option or were the buckets the optional seat?
: And last, what is involved in installing buckets in an early 73? Will the 71 Mustang seats I have been talking about previously, work in the 73?
