there should be no clearance issues at all, I've got the performer 289, Holley 600, nice tall bolt, 2 inch air cleaner and a 1 inch spacer for the carb.


: I had an Edelbrock Rpm manifold and a 1" spacer and carb on my car and it fit with a low profile filter. But I have since moved UP to a Weiand Stealth intake. Have a look at it. It's a couple bucks more but It's a better manifold, It has larger intake runners and it actually has the rear water passage. My edelbrock corroded where it blocked the rear water passages.
