The underdrive pullies are used because they are ligther (which takes less power to turn, and the accessories drain less power because they are spinning slower. I used the underdrive pullies because I kept throwing the v-belt when I went over 6000 rpm and couldn't find any other pullies. Because of the underdrive the pump is now flowing slower, I'm not sure if this is making the car heat up because the thermostat holds the water in the block until it reaches a certain temperature anyways. Since hte pump is moving slower it would make sence to modify the pump to pump more water per revolution. OR maybe I should just get a nice fat aluminum radiator
