i dont think there is a whole lot of difference between the performer RPM and the weiand Stealth. i know of 2 different people who discarded their "performers" (not RPM) in favor of the Stealth, and the differece's were astonishing (both 289/302 motors)
i have another friend who has a badass ranchero powered by a 302. this car was a monster with the cast iron 4V intake, but a performer RPM really livened his motor up too.
in my humble opinion, id go for the stealth. not necessarily because i think its better, but i dont particularly like edelbrock performance pieces for Fords. you could probably save a few bucks by going with the weiand. either way, you are looking at about 1000 rpms you can add to your topend power. (given your engine is built properly)
if you want to just slap a 4V intake onto a stock engine, you are probably best off with the plain old performer. i have one of those discarded performers on my maverick, coupled with a 500 cfm 4 barrel. the car is a tire-shredding, gear snatcher. i am quite pleased with my setup. except for the intake and carb, the car is 100% stock. the stealth and rpm manifolds are best for total performance. i doubt that a stock engine would benefit much with one of em.

: I was wondering about these manifolds - what are you guys who have Weiand Stealth manifolds running in 1/4 mile as compared to the guys with Performer RPM? I know that the intake isn't ALL that matters, but how do they compare? If anybody has used both please give your input ... as it is I think I'm leaning more towards the Weiand intake.

: Also, I'm talking about the Performer RPM, not just Performer, so please keep that in mind. Thanks!
