: We ran the Performer RPM. Our 302 had TFS "Twisted Wedge" heads, 9.5:1 comp., Ford's A312 cam (214/224 w/.472/.496), Holley 650 spread-bore double pump, 1/2 carb adapter, and Hooker Comp. headers. With 4.11's, 27" tall slicks, and a C-4 with about a 3000 stall, we ran 12.70's.
: When we had the stock heads on, the best we could do was a 13.99. A friend of mine has the same basic set-up with the exception of a Stealth intake and a larger Comp. 270H cam. He runs this in an '83 Mustang. He can't even get into the 14's.
:

Someting is wrong then. Those cars practically ran in the 14's stock.
