Ok, apparently Ford used a couple different styles of cable on the gas pedal of the Mavericks. I need a new cable for the 71 Grabber I just bought, but the connection to the pedal is different than on my 77. The Grabber is a 200 c.i. six, and the 77 is a 302 v-8. Is that the difference, or is it the year? Either way, I need a new cable. The one on there has a loop on the end that a pin in the pedal assembly goes through, locking the cable in place. Any of you guys who have recently done the V-8 swap have one left over? I have not had time to hit the local salvage yards, but the Maverick pickin's have been pretty slim lately.
