Check for something loose first, have a friend move the wheel back and forth and look for play. Could be a number of things, wheel bearings, ball joints, idler arm & tie rod ends are most likely culprits. If one thing is worn out the rest are on their way, you might want to bring it to a shop just to get an estimate and a professional opinion. -CP


: Where should I start in inspecting the front suspension in my '72 Grabber. Tires are new and balanced, however it exhibits a shimmy at speeds above 60mph and it's a bit noisy over bumps. Any suggestions? Thanks
