Nice to see a fellow californian mike!! I am new to the mavericks too as I just got a '71 ( non-grabber ) and I live here in Lake Elsinore.
If you need parts call All Ford in Anaheim 714/993-2110. I know they have at least 1 maverick, not sure of the year though.
: i recently got a 71 grabber for $250.00. it runs and has a 302 with column shift auto. the only damage is the grabber hood in the front corner bent down an inch. im in california and it seems that california is lousy for this hobby. everything is on the midwest or east coasts. i dont know about mavericks really well and i just got the car. im writing this to look for others in calif or around or even far away that know a little about these things. ive always wanted one and now this is a reality. im glad to see that im not the only one. everyone here i know think im nuts for buying an ugly car but i dont think its ugly!!!! i like em. feel free to contact me please. mike
