Mavericks with bucket seats had more of a "deluxe" interior door panel.

============================================
: So I went to look at a Maverick today, and I still can't believe my good fortune. The car is a 71 with bucket seats, auto shifter in the floor, 5 lug wheels, 250 six that runs good, new tires, brakes, battery, starter, solenoid switch and muffler. It's still got the original red paint (faded, of course) so there's no hidden bondo or rust. This car is in such good original condition that I feel a little ashamed that I'm not more of a purist (I want to go restomod). It even has the original set of dog-dish wheel covers and trim rings that are PERFECT. So I am now $500.00 poorer, but I am the proud owner of a really nice Maverick.

: Can you believe I forgot to take my camera with me? And I can't actually bring the car home until Wednesday, so no pics yet, but will put some up soon. The only real blemishes (exterior) are rusty (but straight) bumpers, scattered surface rust, a slight fender-bender just forward of the left-hand side-marker light, and a spot of grey primer on the roof, where the owner's son sanded it down to get rid of a surface-rust spot. The center-badge grille is perfect, and has the badge intact. My 71 Grabber just has plain door panels, but this one has steer-heads on them, as well as other trim differences. Does that mean it is an LDO? Or were these just optional without being part of a complete package in 71?

: Even my wife thinks I got a good deal!
