: i've decided to sell my mav this coming summer. i know, it's going to be a sad day when i hand over the keys of "the beast." but i'll be going off to college next year, and i know the beast won't make it to where i want to go. so i thought i'd tell ya'll a little bit about her and see if i could get a rough estimate for what i should ask. the beast is a 4 door, 1977 copper-penny brown maverick. she has a vinyl top and siding. she's an automatic v-8 302. roughly 250,000 miles (i know, she's been around!) interior is nearly perfect, paint looks great for the age, (when she wasn't in use, she was either in a garage, or covered up) almost everything is orginal. she runs alright, has a few problems, example: using a/c makes her overheat, and i'm always having power stearing problems. needs some tlc, i just don't have the funds. for the milage and the age, she really is a good car. my aunt was the orginal owner and she kept it maintained all the time, i just haven't had the money to do that. anyways, just wondering what i could get possibly. thanks!
