That is true but those engines don't fall into the most category as the 275 and 310 versions you mentioned at first all I'm saying is I disagree with the statement that the 352 was a boat anchor. I have heard several similar comments about the 390's being a boat anchor (not on this forum). I don't believe that either.

: by modern standards today and even in the early 60s, it didn't produce the torque or high revs to make it very competive. So maybe you should have driven a tri-power 390/406, 401/405. 390 put a 428 crank in it and you have a 410
