I would take some custom motor and tranny mounts. It should in between the shock towers with no problem. You will need a custom driveshaft. and some rewiring to get the alternator and gauges to work. And also some custom headers. Since you can build chevy 350s fast for cheap that car would move with the Maverick being lighter than most chevy cars. I still think you should put a Ford motor in it though.
