Who told you can get more power out of a 302 than a 350 that bull
5.0 gett ate up by my 4 banger all the time there more horses in a mustang 5.0 because its lighter than say a nova chevelle .
: You can make more power with a 302 than with a Chevy 350 , just look at the 5.0L Mustangs. Yes it does cost more but like rickyracer said you'll spend more money than you save on a custom driveshaft, tranny crossmember, etc etc. If you want to go fast its cheaper to stay Ford. That way if you ever want to sell it you can actually find someone would want to buy it. A Maverick with a Chevy motor is worthless to a lot of people.
