this is a factory job on this one. Ford made & cast it that way. Not some half ass job of trying to repair one. Probably after the first year or two they started cutting back on the quality to cut costs.
: I have seen dozens of the emblems, some used and sime NOS. I have never seen 4 screws on the back side holding it together. I personally have put screws in mine to make sure they hold together.

And that holds the plastic Maverick emblem in place. If any of you would like to counter that my Ford one part# D00B-8216-4 must be wrong.
