: If you cant find a leak externaly pull back your carpet from around the area behind tha master cylinder. Often the master will leak and drip into the interior of the car through the rear seal. Your symptoms sound exactly like what happened to my '71.

: : OK some place in my front brakes has a leak because my rear reservoir in the Master cylinder needs refilling about once a month until today. Well today it got damn scary on the way home from work. The pedal just wouldn’t stay firm. The car pulls hard left so I think the drivers side is OK but I haven’t checked it yet. I took the front Passengers side drum off and don’t see a leak. How can I tell? What should I replace.? I drive y car around 78 Miles a day and this is a five point ding on the old reliability scale because my wife will have to take me to and from work tomorrow. Any help is greatly appreciated. BTW, the shoes look OK and aren’t that worn
