Pays to shop around.. answered an add for a cheap 302 (listed with about 6 other types of engines) and enquired about installation as it was offered.
I explained the situation.. how Alice had been practically stripped bare and that I also needed a tranny and a few "other bits". Bottem line, this guy KNOWS Mavericks!
Grand total inclusive of towing, from start (with nearly nothing) to "drive her home" with exhaust hooked up (I asked about the "Y" pipe... he said duels are INCLUSIVE!)
$1550... about a grand less than if I had it done peice meal....
