it's not that hard. Only thing, there is some special steps that have to be followed and tools required. Safest and best way, is have a shop set them up for you. Gears and labor about $350
: How hard is it to replace the gears in a 8"? To change the with another gear set like 3.55's or something. Are there special tools needed or can a back yard mech. do it. I don't mean changing the center sections, but the gears themselves. OR what kind of money are we talking to buy a complete center section from someone like Currie Ent.? Thanks Russ
