Willy I'm not sure how the dual vacuum vacuum advances work but I doubt that it would cause a miss... You might check for a worn out (stretched) timing chain, take the cap off and turn the crankshaft, look for the rotor to turn. If there is a lot of play before the rotor turns (try it each way) then you need a timing chain, this is common on 75-77 302's with the nylon cam gear, and eventually happens to all engines. -CP
: I have changed everything ,including the distributor, all the way to the plugs. I can't seem to find the miss in it. I checked the compression, all cylinder are holding about 110 pounds.so my question is this, I have two vacuum hoses on my distributor,Now where does the one with the constant vacuum go??? The other runs from the base of the carb. it only has vacuum when you give it the gas.
: Thanks for your help
