Hi folks!
I am looking for a "support group" of Maverick enthusiasts,
and from the activity on this board, it looks like I might have found
it. At the risk of boring everyone with the introduction details:
My Maverick: `73 Grabber, blue over white, 302 A/T, aluminum wheels, bucket
seats, A/C, all original. Looks like a twin of one I found in the photo
gallery owned by Mike Shively (only his appears to be in much better
shape! :)
I'm just starting to restore mine. It was my trusty high school &
college car until `94 when the timing gear ate itself at 147K miles.
I'll probably have thousands of annoying questions along the way as
this is also my first automotive restoration project.
And my first annoying question is: does anyone here live in the
Seattle area? I need to find trustworthy leads on everything from
machine shops to upholstry fabrication, to ??? Any good clubs in
the area?
Thanks in advance,
