Go to a library and find the HOT ROD mag from early this year (I think feb or march) that had a Maverick getting an engine transplant on the cover. It tells how to make a generic ram air for about $78. Very easy and very effective. You will probably want to relocate the battery, though....

: Now this may be a generic way to make a forced air or ram air set-up , but has anyone tried it? The set-up is: Stock air cleaner, block off the snorkle hole and mount the snorkle on the drivers side, run 3-4 inch plastic tubing from snorkle through rad. support to create a forced air setup. This to me sounds like it would work because of the air pressure forced against the grille. The reason for the snorkle to be on drivers side is to create less bending of the pipe. Now, would this be affective? Any input please.
