70 thru 72 have notches. 73 thru 77 do not. A little filler panel can be made with little effort & welded in to fill the notch.
: I'm told that the fenders I've bought for my '73 are from an earlier model ('70-'72?) because they have a notch in the side, just under the headlight opening. My source seemed to think that this notch wasn't needed with the '73 bumpers, but wouldn't show either, so that these fenders would still be fine. Can anyone second that opinion? He said he wasn't sure. Thanks. John B.
