The intake fits the heads fine. The only problem with that intake is it dosn't have the water passage on the back of the intake for water to flow from head to head, but none of the Edelbrock intakes do either. the compression may be what is causing the overheating. More power makes more heat. Is this a new engine or did it run fine for a while and is now heating up?
