with a 12.5 comp you'll have to run allot of cam to make it all work right together. Then the higher stall is what you'll have to go with. A 10.5 comp with a .510 lift, 235deg @ .050 would work with the gearing, lower stall, carb and manifold. Another bad thing about 12.5 comp and high rpm cams is you'll have to check your piston/valve clearence real close and may have to have deeper eyebrows cut, then rebalance the rotating assembly.
