Well, my car originally had the 7.?" rear, but it had been swapped for an 8-inch when I bought the car, so I guess I don't have a clear answer for you. The driveshaft may have come from the car the 8" came from, or it may have been stock, can't say for sure. -CP
: I did the swap 10 months ago( I know , way too long to continue this problem). I the reason I didnt use the 6 cyl. drive shaft is because I figured it would be too wimpy, and I think it had fitment problems as well(I don't remember). I may put the 6 cyl. driveshaft back in to see if it corrects the vibration, that is of course if it does fit correctly, and I will try the rotation like you said as well. BTW, did your 250 6 cyl car have an 8 inch rear stock? Mine had the 7 something rear, which may be the reason I had fitment probs. when I installed my current 8 inch. Let me know if you had an 8 inch stock.
