: Actually the correct converter relates to what kind of camshaft you're running besides al the other variables. My suggestion is to first pick the converter and then call the cam manufacturer and see what cam they recommend. When I called around for cam recommendations from various manufacturers, the first thing they ask me was what stall speed was my converter. Of course it was NA because I use a manual trans.
