An older neighbor of mine is selling a 1975 Ford Maverick with only 60k for $1000. I'm thinking of buying (it has new brakes, plugs, wiring, solenoid, starter, alternator, heating coil, etc.). I'm concerned about its reliability even though it has low mileage... what are some common problems with the Mavericks and how much might I expect to shell out in normal yearly maintenance?
