I just bought a Edelbrock Air gap Manifold and 750 cfm carb. The Air-gap is basicly an RPM with all the misc. metal removed. I found it to be a little much for the stock heads, but I think it will scream when I match them up to the RPM cam and heads. I can't say enough about Edelbrock carbs, I've owned three over the last few years and they came red hot right out of the box. I ran a 600cfm edelbrock on a torker II manifold for awhile and that was a great set up too, I did suffer a bit at low RPMs though, it really works best at 2500 and up. I just recently recieved some good advice on how to build an engine, start from the bottom up. Sounds simple but it sort of bit me on the butt this time, my 750 carb and rpm manifold are running at about 50% of what they could do if I opened up the heads and got a more agressive cam.

I found that the research was half the fun when I made my purchase, I'm kind of bummed that I can't day dream about blowers and turbo charges anymore.....Well not as much anyway : )
