First, put a shift kit in your C-4, second, good to a 2400 (appx) convertor, Third, if you have already put 3.50 gears in the rearend, Your engine probably doesn't come alive until about 2500 rpms, got to get it up there somehow.
If your trans has very many miles on it, 25K+ rebuilt it with stronger parts, otherwise you will be soon with 300 horses trying to get out.
How the heck do I get more power TO the ground with my C4??? It has a stock converter in it, but I'm pretty sure there is around 300 HP at the flywheel. I've considered a T5, but don't really have the place or money to do that sort of conversion. Suggestions would be a great help!!!!
