:I put an 82 5.0 capri motor in my 73' Mav. The flexplate from your mav will not work ( unless you converted over too a AOD). The 82' and up 5.0 motors use a 50 oz. imbalance crank. If you have a large bellhousing c-4 you can save yourself some money and get an AOD flexplate from a 86' up mustang. If you have the small bellhousing c-4 you have too get a special flexplate from B-M racing or summit it isn't listed in any of their catalogs and cost $120. if you need the part you can call summit or if you want I can see if a find my receipt. The pulleys from a 302 v-belt setup will bolt right up. Also that motor is not a roller motor.
