They may be the Gurney-Weslake 305 heads? The 305 was just a 289 with a little more displacement, but if those are the heads you are talking about then yes, they are awesome heads. The 305 heads were cast of alum. and the intake ports were a short shot, leading directly from the carburetors(one weber for each port) and aimed straight at the comb. chamber. Because there was a carb. for each port, no intake was used.
They had a 2.03 intake valve, and a 1.625 exhaust valve and shaft mounted rockers. Three different heads were made, even one to fit under the hood of a Mustang. The 305 was dynoed at 520 hp at approx. 7,500rpm's. So as you can see, they were pretty good heads, but not really made for street use, so if you did use them they would have to be for race use only. And if they happen to be "TP" heads as rickyracer suggested, then those are also nice heads, but not good for street use either.
