They definitely sound like race heads by what you've described so far, but what type of racing(ie T/A, C/A, Indy) is what I am interested in. I hope you can supply more info about them, so it can be found out what the heads were used for exactly.
ALOT!I can't afford to buy them,unless I win the lottery!No manifold and the engine was a custom made by Art Karr.The original block had a cracked cylinder, but was still running when it was bought,and pretty strong too.I know cause I was around when it was bought.Now has a DSS bullet on the stand ready for assembly.don't remember what they were made of,I'm goig there saturday,I'll try and get some pics of them.
