Ive seen a 74 and a 71 one had a 429 cobra jet, the other(71), had a 494 blown and injected(nitro). After state inspection ofcourse, lol. So if these fit, a 351 will too. You have to cut out some of the front shock towers so you can even get your hands in there to change spark plugs, and weld 11 gauge plate in place of. You could use 14 but i hear that will be weak and for these guys and ther big blocks, they needed all the frame support they could get. To much is almost enough. A trick with the welding is to use stainless rod and tig weld on dc- at between 35 and 50 amp. File the tungsten to a very sharp point at a 60 degree angle. Use a 1/2 " cup and have the tip only about 3/16 inch outside the cup. And be sure to aim the tip as close to perfectly parallel to your weld when you are, of course, welding.

: Hi, I need to know if anyone who has already done a 351w i a Mav/Com
: found hedders? I don't want the 302 version of the headers, I need ones that are a bit longer vertically.

: I would settle for shorties if some one has done this?

: I also wonder if any one knows anything about a JATCO tranny that was put in these cars for a while.

: I would like to ask other questions if you would email me.
