: : : Jack the car up in the air so the tires are off the ground, and get underneath. Push & pull on the front of both tires, look for play. If there is any look to see where it is coming from (most likely cause idler arm). You said all this stuff is tight but I don't know how you are checking it (or if its been replaced) so thats how its done 'case you didn't know.
: : : To check wheel bearings, put one hand on top of the wheel and one at the bottom and check for play. This eliminates steering play so you can check just the bearings. If it moves or if you can hear any noise then the bearings need to be repacked.

: : : Bearings, idler arm, or even misalignment could cause a vibration, so start eliminating some stuff. -CP

: : The car is on a lift at work. All the things you've mentioned have been checked and/or replaced. The play comes from placing my hands at the top and bottom of the tire and pushing in at the top and pulling out on the bottom and vice-versa.The only thing not checked is alignment.I don't hear any bearing roar while driving or noise when I move the tires like mentioned above. But I think I'll replace them just as well. They're probably 28 years old anyways.

: : : : While under the Grabber the other day after pulling her tranny ,..I noticed my front tires can be moved from side to side about 1/16th to 1/8th of an inch, but the rear tires don't even budge.I've already replaced all bearings in her rear diff and axle seals. All brakes(drums) have been completely rebuilt. Why are my front tires moving?Bad bearings maybe?Everything else under the front end is tight,Idler arm, tie rods etc etc.Could this be the cause of the vibration I feel while driving?
: : : : Thanks,
