It's tricky, but you have to take a small screwdriver and stick it in behind the knob and pry down on the metal ring that is holding it in place. Once you press this down, it will pop right off. The windshield wiper knob comes off the same way.

: Anyone know how to remove the knob off of the glove box? My latch has an ear broken off and I want to replace it with one I have ,but I can't figure out how. to get the knob off. THANK YOU in advance. Russ
