As for Heddman headers, the early 'stang and the mav headers are the same part number so I'd imagine you'd be okay. If you have power steering, you'll need a slave cylinder drop bracket, though. If you have a cloumn shift car, you'll have to convert to floor (if you haven't done so already).

: : Well I began the motor swap for my 72 grabber today. I am dropping in a 302 w/ 351W heads, mallory unilite, polished shelby intake and holley 600cfm carb, all used but in good shape. I also have the headers from the 65 stang, they look very similar to mav headers so im going to give them a try, anyone used stang headers in their mav? I do not know the brand. The motor came out of a stang a couple of months ago in favor of the 345 horse crate motor, works out well for everyone involved!
