I wouldn't use this service because I enjoy doing the work myself..as much as I can. My brother is getting ready to spend $14,000 just to get his 1969 Torino painted. He still has to put the car back together, put the engine back in, and but the interior back in. Why is he paying so much, because they totally paint and detail everything!! I imagine that if he wanted them to do it all.....it would be $30,000 or more.
The main reason he is doing it this way is because:
1. He doesn't have time to do it himself
2. He doesn't know how to do it himself
So even though I wouldn't do it, there is a need for this service.

: in light of merlins question, how many people on this board would use a service or shop like the one merlin describes? who has thier own shop/tools? just curious...............
