There are huge car shows several times each year at the Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord (Formerly Charlotte Motor Speedway, for those of you that hate corporate muckety-muck). Maybe sometime in the future we can contact the organizers of one of the shows and pursuade them to include a Maverick expo or a sub-class or something? Not quite sure how that works, but it's a thought. In the past two years, Charlotte has hosted huge events for both the Mustang (35th Anniversary) and the Falcon (FCA National Convention). Arnie, if you decide to be state rep down that way, let me know and I will do what I can (unofficially) to help bring some activities to our region. If we can get together, I'll have to drag my wife along and show her that I'm not the only fruitcake in the world that likes these cars! Just let me know what I can do.
