Earl is right about the ignition in that the early mavericks (called 69 1/2's) have the switch under the dash. They were all titled as 70. The main production 70's moved to locking column. Glove boxes were no offered till 73
: Rob; I have a '69.5, which was the '70 model car, and it has the ignition switch down on the dash, by the steering column. Mine is a poverty car, no ps,pb or a/c, and has a tray instead of a glove compartment. This was changed in '71, I think, to the glove box dash. Hope this helps. Earl
