: : I really need to do some work on my front end suspension. What tools do I need? Do I really need a press? Can I do this at home?
A press is needed to press bushings in upper control, a shop may let you do it or do that small job for free, nothing to it. Need a ball joint and a tierod end tool. Can borrow them from Auto Shack, small deposit returned when you return the tools. Yes, you can do this job at home. Replace everything and be done with it, all rubber bushings, tierod ends, etc. Then you don't have to worry what will go out next on front end. Good luck.
