The thing to keep in mind with this rack is that it does NOT replace the shock towers, suspension, or anything along those lines. All it replaces is the steering gear box and steering linkage.

: I emailed the guys at Total Control Products to see if they had any plans to make the rack & pinion conversion they sell available for Mavericks. I figured that it shouldn't take much modifying since it's made to pretty near bolt into a Mustang. (no need to hack up the sub frame like other conversions) They emailed me back that they had a number of custumers that had made some "minor" mods to their rack themselves and were using them on Mavericks. They are supposed to get back to me with details about these "minor" mods. The way I see it, if I can go to their rack for around $1000, thats not too bad since I need to do a complete front end rebuild anyway. Have any of you guys had any experience with this company, or their products. I don't suppose one of you is among the people they say have put their rack on a Maverick, are you? Thanks in advance for any input. John B.
