i have never heard of a bent camshaft. let alone the thought that someone could diagnose that problem without tearing the engine down.does he have x-ray vision? the filings could be from alot of things. if it is from the cam,then replace just the cam and lifters,flush out the oiling system and reseal some of the other leaks. that would be alot cheaper than a new engine. this is my opinion(the guy is a quack!) if i'm wrong someone let me know please.there will not be any hard feelings!! good luck alice
