Something I'd like to add is just beaware of your pistion to valve clearance. I think someone meantioned 2.02 valves. I'm sure if you by some bare G-40 casting you can put what ever you want in them (1.84, 1.94, 2.02) but just watch it if you don't plan on doing anything with the bottom end or even if you do, do something with the bottom end because a 2.02 will be way too much for a stock cam. Not to meantion all the other things like gears converter, etc.... Basicly plan ahead. Oh and don't for get about cc's on the head too. Your heads are probably 52 cc's if you put 351w on them expect the compresion to drop. I'm sure some cases maybe diffrent but just a little fyi

I have ran Cast Iron Darts, Alum Trick Flows, 351W and Ported 289 52cc stock heads. Basicly it one of the best performance items I ever changed. But for the most bang for the buck my 289 65 heads were my choice price wise. The Windsors in the Darts and 351W in the Stock format really didn't impress me much but it was probaly the set up (64 cc chamber (darts), to big ports etc. But for over all performance the Trick Flows I am the most happy with oh and they are much easier on the back when changing them. I can't say that the GT-40s were that great when they frist came out in the early 90's but im sure they have changed since then and I have heard some really good things about them now (flow number etc.)

I guess the choice is bottom line up to you and your pocket book as well.

Good Luck
