::I've been trying to get my 76 comet to pass smog for about two weeks now! It's a 250 six and i have done the standard basic stuff already. The smog man said that at idle it is fine but at part throttle i have to much CO(running rich). i created a couple of vacum leaks and took it back but that did not help too much.

::My question is are there any primary or secondary adjustable fuel metering devices i can play with? I do have a service manual for the maverick but lost the dang thing somewhere.
